6th April 2008 - A Jamie Williams 'hattrick' ensured Priory Reserves kept themselves in the Division One promotion race with a 3-2 win over title contenders RH123 Athletic. Priory Reserves face their biggest challenge to date as they face Chipstead 'A' in the next two games which will undoubtedly have a big outcome in the Title Race. Priory 'A' finished their season off in fine style with a 5-0 win over Park Lane Reserves , with Paul Hamilton striking four! However the game was marred by the bad injury to Helio who sufferred a 'broken leg' . Our wishes go out to Helio for a speedy recovery. The Bees suffered a 4-2 defeat away to Albury Manor.

Next saturday sees the 1st Team back in action away to Northgate Athletic , with the Crawley Premier coming to a climax.

30th March 2008 - With the recent bout of poor whether , Priorys last weekend at Park Lane was not to be. The Bees were redirected to Tattenham and subsequently lost 5-0 and the 'A's only just lost to RH123 Reserves 4-3. The Reserves kept their promotion hopes alive with a 6-3 away win at Nutfield Reserves. With the weather continuing to play havoc with the fixtures , its going to be a busy 'run in' and probably the teams that remained focused and committed and available will be the ones that enjoy the silver ware.

26th March 2008 - Last week , as written in the local papers, Reigate Priory FC confirmed it has applied to join the new Surrey Elite League. The Club has given notice to the Crawley & District League of its resignation at the end of this season. The club hopes its application will be successful as the Surrey Elite League is an exciting prospect with member clubs having to meet certain ground criteria which would pitch Priory against other clubs who have their own clubhouse facilities with improved playing conditions. Some of the additional criteria would require 'Dug Outs' and 'roping off' of the pitch. Improvements would need to be made to the clubhouse , but none of these aspects are beyond us. The club remains committed to developing the quality of the Football played at Park Lane and improving its playing and clubhouse facility at its current historic location.

25th March 2008 - With the club now focussing on the end of season 'run in' , both the 1st Team and Reserves still hold an outside chance of finishing in the top two of their respective divisions. In the Crawley & District Premier Merstham Newton suffered another loss at the weekend and Maidenbower overcame Northgate. Whilst Priory still hold 3rd spot and if results go their way, there remains an outside chance of breaking into the top two, so still a lot to play for with Priorys last remaining fixtures against Northgate Ath and Ifield Edwards II.

Similarly, The Reserves are in the chasing pack for the Division 1 race of the Redhill & District , and again , if they can put in a winning streak to the end of the season, who knows ?!.

24th March 2008 - Priorys 'Big Event' , despite the changeable weather, went ahead at the weekend and was a massive success. With the day starting with snow ,against all odds Priory played the game against the Royal Engineers 137 years late. The Royal Engineers won the game 1-0. The clubs fund raisine activities for the Childrens was a massive success with the Memorabilia Auction raising £3000. For full details click on banner.

The previous day only the 'A's and Bees were in action with the 1st Team and Reserves both being called off. The 'A's lost at home to Bletchingley Reserves 3-2 and the Bees lost 2-1 away to Real Holmesdale Reserves.

16th March 2008 - It was the 'Big Match' for the Reserves on saturday away to Kenley in the Redhill & District Senior Cup Semi Final. Priory's hopes were dashed by a poor first half performance with left Priory reeling 3-0 down at half time. Reserve Team Managers Lomas and Vezza read the riot act at half time and whilst Priory had a much improved second half, were unable to clawback the game and went out of the competition losing 3-1. The only other game for the seniors was the 'A' Teams visit to Merstham 'A'. The 'A's went down 9-3. The Reserves were at home against Bookham'A' and achieved a comfortable 3-0 win with goals from Stuart Morley,Luke Reid and Michael Ainsworth. The Reserves now prepare for next weeks semi final encounter away to Kenley. The 'A's went to the Wescott slope and lost 6-3 after conceding 5 goals in the first half hour. 1st March 2008 - Priorys opportunity to go top of the table came and went as a lack lustre performance handed all three points to Holland Sports.Whitings superb strike brought Priory back into the game at half time but Holland Sportss went onto win 2-1. Wheelers hattrick helped the 'A's achieve a 4-1 victory over Reigate Hill Reserves and the Bees went down 4-1 away to Court Lodge.

24th February 2008 - Priorys 1st team continued their amazing end of season form by completing the double over league leaders Merstham Newton with a 2-0 win. Pick of the goals was 'Bubbles' Squeeky clean finish ! . The Reserves promotion hopes suffered a set back as they were on the wrong end of a 3-2 scoreline. The 'A' stopped the rot as they put in an improved performance achieving a 2-2 away draw to Holland Sports Reserves with Matt Keeling grabbing a last minute equaliser. The Bees went down 4-2 away to Limpsfield Blues Reserves.
