• Results 27/28 November 2009

    Priory earnt a well deserved point away to Horsley at the weekend but still need to start turning in some wins if they are to move up the table.

    Congratulations to the Reserves as they won their first game of the season with a 3-1 win over Royal Holloway OB Reserves with 2 goals from Matt Moss and a goal from Matt Keeling.

    The As lost 4-1 to Alliance and the Bs lost out in a tight game with Horsley AFC Reserves.

    Lions Pride as RP Lions went top of their division with 3-2 win over AFC Rhodrons.

    The pride of the youth section is the Under 9s who, following their 2-1 win over Stanley Park Dynamos, moved into 2nd spot.

    The Under 14s lost to AFC Ewell, Under 11As lost 4-0 to Worcester Park, Under 11Bs won 2-1 to Kingswood Terriers, and the Under 10Bs drew 1-1 to Ashtead Colts D.

    Last weekend saw a complete washout of the saturday fixtures with Priory’s County Cup tie against Hammer Utd now scheduled for this Saturday.

    Two games survived Sunday. Reigate Priory Lions notched up another victory with a 2-0 win over Epsom Rangers taking them up to second in the table. Priory U12s won their game against Roundshaw Colts B winning an eleven goal thriller 6-5.

  • Results 7/8 November 2009

    Priory were comprehensively beaten by local rivals Bletchingley at the weekend 6-1.

    Priory Reserves went to Woodmansterne Hyde weakened following 1st Team call ups.

    Priory A just lost 3-2 to Limpsfield Blues Reserves.

    Next weekend a break in the Elite action as Priory face Hammer Utd in the 1st Round of the Surrey County Intermediate Cup at Park Lane.

    Reigate Priory Lions continued their winning ways with a convincing win over Guildford Albion 5-0 in the 1st Round of the Surrey Cup.

    Results 31st Oct/1st Nov 2009

    A confidence building result as Priory beat Croydon Greenside 2-1 at the weekend. Priory openened the scoring through Fisher and held their lead up to half time. Greenside equalised through a penalty. Dean Abbott made it 2-1 with ten mins remaining and Priory held out for a valuable three points.

    Priory Reserves moved into the second round of the County Cup as their opponents were unable to raise a team.

    Priory As achieved a point in a 2-2 draw against Heath OB , however the Bees suffered a 3-0 loss to Court Lodge.

    Priory Lions went second in the table with a 3-0 win over Fetcham Utd.

  • Results 24/25 October 2009

    Priory secured passage to the quarter finals of the Elite Challenge Cup with a convincing win over Elite strugglers Esher with 4 goal from Luke Reid and 2 from Dean Abbot.

    Priory Reserves were in a 6 goal thriller and almost achieved their first win with goals from Charles Read and Reg Wright.

    The As exited the Surrey Cup losing 6-2 to Merrow A, and the Bees went down 10-1 to Godstone.

    Priory Lions achieved a good victory over Epsom Eagles on Sunday 1-0.

    Priory took on Elite Table toppers Battersea Ironsides and gave them a close game, just losing 2-1 on the day.

    Priory Reserves had a tough away trip to Elm Grove and were convincingly beaten 5-1 by the Division leaders.

    Priory As were in a close game against Alliance losing 3-2 and the Bees enjoyed the only point of the day with a 3-3 draw against Westcott 35 Reserves.

    Priory Lions played against FC Tolworth and were undone by the same same scoreline as the previous week losing 2-1 to the Division leaders.

  • Results – 3/4 October 2009

    Despite taking a 1-0 lead Priory were unable to earn points as Horsley secured a 3-1 victory at Park Lane this weekend.

    Priory Reserves were on their travells to Spelthorne Sports. Two goals from Matt Keeling were not enough as the Reserves went down 3-2.

    Priory A had another tough day at the office losing 4-0 to Warlingham B.

    On a brighter note Chris Comben is going for Manager of the Month as the Bees notch up their 3rd consecutive league win 4-3 over Merstham C.

    Priory Lions also maintained their impressive start with a 5-2 win over Brockham Green.

    Priory 1sts just lost out 3-2 to high flying Tongham at the weekend as they work to improve results.

    Priory Reserves put in an improved performance but were not good enough against Elm Grove as they lost 3-0.

    The ‘A’s and ‘Bs’ were involved in Cup games, but failed to progress with the As losing 7-0 to Merstham Newton Reserves and the Bs going down 3-1 to the Plough.

    Reigate Priory Lions maintained their 100% record with a 2-1 win over Epsom Rangers.

    On the social front the club’s Footballers’ Wives Disco raised funds for the club. Many Thanks to all those that supported the evening. The next event is Halloween on Saturday 31st October.
