REIGATE PRIORY (0) 1 THREE BRIDGES (1) 1
Sinnick 1
Following eight weeks of training Priory played their first friendly against Three Bridges at Perrywood. Playing opposition from higher leagues is very much on Priory agenda and this was the teams first test. Whilst Three Bridges maintained better posession Priory worked hard throughout and general thwarted their opponents limiting their opponents to long range shots. Three Bridges broke the deadlock when they converted from a corner.
With breaks to take on water every 25 mins Priory rotated their 15 man squad so players were continually involved. The Players responded well with many positive performances throughout. As the game progressed to the latter stages Priory looked to be getting stronger and a few openings were beggining to present themselves. A well deserved equaliser was achieved when Sinnick sneaked behind the Centre Back and converted with a looping header.
This friendly was an excellent fixture where both teams achieved a good work out. The game was played with good spirit and in the process we made some good associations for the future.
