Well what a couple of weeks for RPFC officers what with Ray Connolly (Chairman) and now Simon Avery (Director of Football) becoming local dignitaries in Reigate. Apparently Jes Chandler, our real local dignitary, (Chairman, CEO of Stanton Construction, Chairman of Reigate Priory Business Guild, club Vice President etc. etc.) is so incensed about his own lack of personal coverage in the media that he has fired his PR agency (Saatchi & Saatchi).

Anyway for those interested we have published the 1st draft of Simons answers submitted to the Surrey Life for this months article.

As someone who knows the town well, what would you particularly recommend for visitors?

SA: Reigate is full of history, what with the Priory and the surrounding Park, the caves where the Magna Carta was discussed, the remains of Reigate Castle, there is a wealth of places to see and get a real feel of the towns origins - however I would recommend visitors see Lal Akash, the Priory Bar and Liquid envy!!

Who was the last celeb you saw in the area?

SA: Ray Connolly

Where is your favourite place to go for dinner in the town?

SA: Reigate is blessed with a host of great restaurants. One of the great restaurants in Surrey - Tony Tobins the Dinning Room, the award winning La Barbe and the great food at the Gurkha Kitchen to name a few - but you cant beat a curry!!

Its lunchtime and you're looking for a quick bite to eat. Where would you go?

SA: Lal Akash

What would you say is Reigate's best kept secret?

SA: Me and the wife like dressing up!!

Which is your favourite place to enjoy a quiet drink?

SA: Liquid Envy

What's your view on the towns mix of shops?

SA: It has shops!!

What do you think would be the best use for the Old Town Hall?

SA: Karaoke Bar
