MAYORS'S ANNUAL AWARD SCHEME 2007

The Mayor’s Annual Community Awards Scheme recognises the unsung heroes who do such a great amount of valuable work for the Borough and its community, and shows our whole-hearted appreciation for their selfless service.

On Wednesday 18th April 2007 Ray Connolly went to receive his award from the Mayor of Reigate and Banstead , Councillor David Pay , at Reigates Town Hall. I'm sure all club members will join me in congratulating Ray ( or Sir Ray as he now likes to be known ) on receiving this award in recognition of all the work and effort he has put in providing football to youngsters in the local community and latterly in developing Reigate Priory FC to its current position where the club offers football to youngsters and seniors from the local area.

Reigate Priory FC Chairman Ray Connolly has been recognised with an Award in this years Mayors's Community Awards Scheme. I am sure you will join me in congratulating Ray on receiving this award which is justly deserved. His work at Reigate Priory FC over many years has revitalised this historic club which now has a thriving team structure of four senior teams and four youth teams. The club has at its heart a friendly inclusive culture offering football to players in the local community.
