Priory A ended their season with a defeat to South Park A in a game where the Priory players pulled the team 'out of the hat' Priory played well in the 1st half with most players performing well in unusual positions but it was South Park who took the lead through a penalty conceded by Stuart jones. Priory then equalised as a cross by Nick Taylor was headed into his own net by a South Park defender. Priory then took the lead when striker Ross Markwick scored after beating 2 South Park defenders. The second half was all south Park for the 1st 30 mins and scored 5 more goals. 1 was another dubious penalty as this time Marc Connolly was adjudged to have handled and another was from a direct free kick which Priory failed to organise themselves quick enough. Colin Brend then took over in goal with Bradley Martin taking up a position in midfield. Priory did finish strongly, coming close on a couple of occasions and did manage to pull 1 back with Mark Hadley scoring from close range.

Reigate Priory A sides recent run of 3 wins in a row came to a end in a close game against Alma Tavern Res. Priory though didn't start well and were 2 down at half time after a error by Stuart Jones and a scramble from a corner. Priory did have there moments with Jamie Williams hitting the post and forcing a good save by the Tavern keeper from a nice volley.
The second half started well and Priory were back level within 15 mins. Stuart jones made amends by scoring the first, his first for the club, coming in at the back post from a cross to poke home and Dave Williams equalised after a couple of errors in the Tavern defence gifted him the chance to score. Priory then brought on Matt Moss, Ed Moss & Mark Hadley but Priory couldn't maintain the momentum and conceded 2 sloppy goals as errors in the defence allowed Tavern to score. Matt Moss did score with 10 mins remaining after the Tavern keeper fumbled but Priory couldn't get the equaliser despite more good chances falling to Matt Moss and Mark Hadley

REIGATE PRIORY 'A' (4) 6 TATSFIELD ROVERS RESERVES (0) 3
Besley1,Byrne3,CostaschukM1,Keeling1
Priory A made it 3 wins in a row with victory against Tatsfield Rovers Res. With the game being played in very windy conditions it was very much a game of 2 halves with the team with the wind on top. Priory had the advantage in the 1st half and made it tell scoring 4 goals with Colin Brend almost redundent in the Priory Goal. The 1st came when Rob Besley was fouled on the edge of the box and he stepped up to score from the resulting free kick. Chris Byrne then took over scoring a hat trick. His 1st was a run which ended with him rounding the Tatsfield keeper to score and his second was a cross cum shot which managed to somehow go straight in. His 3rd was direct from a Jack Phillipson goal kick which cleared everyone leaving chris to collect the ball and score.
The second half was much the opposite with Tatsfield having most of the play. They scored within 2 mins of the restart as a corner was punched clear by colin brend only for a shot from 25 yards to find the top corner. Tatsfield continued to dominate but Jones, Clarke, Connolly & Phillipson did well in the Priory defence to keep them out. Priory then extended their lead after a backpass was poorly cleared by the Tatsfield keeper and the ball landed with Mike Costa who scored. Tatsfield then scored 2 quick goals, the 1st was a turn and shot from 10 yards and the 2nd a clearence which cleared the priory defence and the striker lobbed the advancing Brend. With priory now getting nervous of a comeback, Matt Keeling killed the game off with 10 mins remaining as he managed to break clear and round the Tatsfield keeper to score from a tight angle

REIGATE PRIORY 'A' (1) 2 GODSTONE (0) 0
CostaschukW2
Priory A side won again after a well earned win against Godstone. Bradley Martin started in goal with usual goalkeeper lawrence Clarke only fit to be an outfield sub. With Dan udall, Aaron Lawrence, Will costa & Mark Hadley all starting, priory fielded a strong side and always looked in control.
Mark Hadley went close early on with 2 efforts being saved by the Godstone keeper. Priory took the lead midway through the 1st half with Will Costa beating the full back, getting to the byline, cutting in and scoring from a tight angle. The only scare came when a speculative shot from Godstone decieved Bradley Martin in goal and came back off the bar.
The second half was mostly Priory with Mark Hadley & Dave Williams both missing 1 on 1's with the Godstone keeper when clean through, and Rob Randell hitting the bar with a long range strike. Priory extended their lead when Will Costa scored again. Appologies but i missed it so no description. Godstone did hit the bar again towards the end but failed to trouble Bradley Martin in the Priory Goal.

SOUTH GODSTONE RESERVES (1) 2 REIGATE PRIORY 'A' (0) 0
Reigate Priory A lost again in a close game of few chances despite playing well. Brend took over in goal from regular keeper Clarke and was redundent for most of the match as was the South Godstone keeper. Connolly and Clarke performed well throughout in central defence but could do nothing with the goals. South godstone took the lead mid way through 1st half after a kick from the keeper cleared everyone and was collected by the striker to score. Rob Randell missed the best chance shooting wide when clean though. Soper replaced Lane at half time and the 2nd half was similar to the first with few chances. Priory did hit the post through Rob randell but if was South Godstone who extended their lead after a free kick somehow went in off the unlucky Soper and into the bottom corner. Priory ended up with 10 men as Moss went off injured with 20 mins remaining.

In a game played in a mud bath Priory lost again after holding Park lane for a hour before collapsing at the end. Park lane took the lead but 2 goals form Joe Lane, 1 a good free kick, gave priory a 2-1 lead. Dominic Clarke replaced the injured John Markwick after about 15 mins and Larwence Clarke in the priory goal again played well to keep the score down. Park lane did equalise just before the break. The second half was a bit of a battle against the conditions with Rob Besley playing well in midfield but Park lane managed to score 5 goals in the last 25 mins mainly due to errors by the Priory defence. Gareth Balcolme came on with 20 mins left but failed to get Priory back in the game.

Priory A team let a 4-1 lead slip in this game despite playing with 10 men for the full 90 mins.
With Brend again covering in goal and Dominic Clarke lining up at centre back with Steve watts, Priory took the lead inside 5 mins when a cross from stott was turned into the RH123 net for a own goal. RH123 equalised immediatly with a shot which crept in the bottom corner. The remainder of the half was dominated by the 10 man priory side and they hit the woodwork 3 times through Justin Stott and Dave Williams. The second half started well for Priory and they extended there lead through efforts from Justin Stott, a header from a corner by Mark Hadley and a chip from dave Williams. RH123 then applied pressure for the final 20 mins and the extra man finally told but it was a error by Colin Brend which let them back into the game for their 2nd goal and a 3rd goal followed soon after. With Priory holding on, RH123 equalised with nearly the last kick of the match through a penalty conceded by steve Watts.

A makeshift Priory A team were well beaten by Park Lane. Stand in keeper Colin Brend was in goal again and the Costa brothers played for the 1st time in a while and found the game hard going. Priory took the lead inside 5 mins with Dave Williams scoring. A dubious penalty led to the equaliser and then poor defending led to 4 more Park Lane goals before half time. Dennis Upfold replaced the injured Chris Dalton after 30 mins. The second half was much the same as Park Lane scored 3 more goals with Joe Lane scoring a good 25 yard goal at the end for Priory.

SOUTHPARK 'A' (1) 3 REIGATE PRIORY 'A' (0) 1
Reigate went out of the league cup after a close game with South Park A.
Priory tried a new 3-5-2 formation in this game and both teams had chances at the start of the first half with Rob Randell, Justin Stott & Stuart Jones all going close for priory. Lawrence Clarke was good in the priory goal keeping out the South Park attacks. As the first half was coming to a end South Park took the lead after priory failed to clear a shot and the resulting rebound found the net. Andy Norris replaced Mark Jones at half time and both teams had chances to score with both goalkeepers making fine saves. Priory did equalise after about a hour as Justin Stott beat 2 or 3 defenders to shoot past the South Park keeper. The game was still end to end but it was South Park who finally scored again as a error from Joe Lane led to the South Park forward scoring from a header. Colin Brend then replaced the injured Lawrence Clarke in the Priory goal and his first job was to pick the ball out of the net as a 25 yard shot found the top corner. Dominic Clarke then replaced Stuart Jones as priory pushed forward towards the end but South Park held on for the win.

NORK SOCIAL (1) 2 REIGATE PRIORY 'A' (1) 2
WilliamsD1,RandellR1
Priory A side got a very hard earned point against the runaway leaders despite playing the whole of the second half with a man less.
The game was only 5 mins old when a corner caused priory problems with Pete Shearman clawing the corner away from under his crossbar only for the rebound to somehow go through 3 or 4 players and into the net. Priory played well after that with Mark Hadley and Jack Phillipson linking well up front but it was a brilliant 25 yard shot from Rob Randell which brought the sides level. With the first half coming to a end Chris Randell and Mark Jones saw red along with 1 Nork player after a brawl broke out. Priory went 4-3-1 in the second half which was mostly dominated by Nork and they took the lead again after a mistake from Colin Brend led to the striker beating the advancing Shearman in the Priory goal. Nork failed to capitalise on this with chances being missed and Pete Shearman performing well in the Priory goal. They were made to pay for this as Priory equalised through Dave williams as he broke the offside trap to score. Nork still missed chances with Norris, Lomath, Connolly, Brend and Shearman defending well for the remainder of the match. Joe Lane and Dennis Upfold replaced Jack Phillipson and Rob Randell as fresh legs were required to hold on for the point. Mark Hadley and Dave Williams ran their socks off in midfield pressurising Nork as best they could. Priory still had the best chance at the death as a corner from Joe Lane found a unmarked Marc Connolly but his header was straight at the Nork Keeper.

GODSTONE (2) 3 REIGATE PRIORY 'A' (3) 3
MossE1,Randell2
Reigate Priory A team earned their first draw of the season in a hard fought game but should have had all 3 points as missed chances cost them. Rob Randell and Ed Moss Started up front in the absence of top scorer Stott and had plenty of chances between them to have won the game over the 90 mins. Priory started poorly but took the lead inside 5 mins with Ed Moss running onto a ball over the top and beating the keeper. Godstone dominated for 20 mins and took the lead with 2 quick goals as priory were poor defensivly. The 1st was a far post header and the second was a cross which illuded everyone and floated straight in. Rob Randell and Ed moss then missed plenty of good chances before Rob Randell did find the net with a cool finish after beating the offside trap. It got better as Rob Randell then scored again with a similar goal and Priory went in up at the break.
The second half again was a case of what may have been as Priory missed more chances and were finally made to pay as Godstone equalised with 10 mins remaining after a good move down the right.

Justin Stott then hit the post with the goal open after rounding the keeper and Westcott hit the woodwork again. Priory then scored 2 quick goals, the first from Dave Williams after good work from Stott and the second from Justin Stott himself. Rob Randell then hit the post for Priory from close range. The second half started well for Westcott as they scored with a header from a corner. The Priory defence stood firm with Marc Connolly and Stuart Jones keeping Westcott from closing the gap further. Priory again then scored 2 quick goals to make the game safe with Justin Stott scoring his second and Dave Williams completing his hatrick with a nice lob over the keeper. Priory A team didn't play well in this game but nearly snatched a draw at the end until a mistake by stand in keeper Colin Brend gave Tatsfield the points. Priory were poor throughout but did create chances in the first 20 mins but failed to test the Tatsfield keeper. Tatsfield were causing problems throughout and took the lead from a quick corner as the Priory defence were slow to organise themselves. The second half was much the same with Tatsfield causing more problems and coming close on a few occasions and hitting the post. With time running out Priory equalised through Justin Stott and looked to have earned a undeserved point. However, straight from the kick off the Tatsfield forward decided to shoot and the Priory was off his line and ball sailed straight over his head and in.

Priory started well with the williams brothers both going close and a acrobatic overhead kick from dennis upfold. Alma Tavern had the ball in the net but it was rulled out for offside. Priory than took the lead through Steve Young who scored at the far post after a cross from Jamie Williams. Young then hit the bar with Jamie williams putting the rebound over with the goal open. Priory paid for this as Alma Tavern equalised through a 1 on 1 with the keeper. The second half was open like the first half and Alma tavern took the lead through a Dominic Clarke own goal. Priory equalised when Jamie Williams scored from a tight angle after combining with Jones. With the game heading for a draw, Pierre came off the bench to score a superb solo winner taking the ball from the halfway line before calmy beating the advancing keeper.
